SUMMARY:JUBILEE CELEBRATION FOR CATECHISTS AND PROPOSED TRAINING FOR UNTRAINED CATECHISTS AT PASTORAL CENTER / CTC
DESCRIPTION:The Diocese joyfully announces the Jubilee Celebration for Catechists\, a special occasion dedicated to honoring and appreciating the vital role catechists play in the transmission of the Catholic faith and the formation of Christian communities. \nThis celebration will be a moment of thanksgiving\, prayer\, and renewal\, recognizing the dedication\, sacrifice\, and service of catechists in parishes and mission stations. Through Holy Mass\, reflections\, and fellowship\, catechists will be encouraged to continue their mission of teaching\, guiding\, and nurturing the faith of God’s people. \nIn addition\, the Diocese proposes a structured training program for untrained catechists to be conducted at the Pastoral Center / Catechetical Training Center (CTC). This initiative aims to equip catechists with the necessary theological knowledge\, pastoral skills\, and spiritual formation required for effective ministry. \nAll parishes are encouraged to identify untrained catechists and support their participation in this important formation program. This will strengthen catechetical ministry across the Diocese and ensure consistency and quality in faith formation. \nThe dates and detailed program for both the Jubilee Celebration and the training sessions will be communicated in due course. \nLet us continue to support and pray for our catechists as they serve the Church with faith\, dedication\, and love. \n“A well-formed catechist builds a strong and faithful Church.”

SUMMARY:CLERGY RETREAT AND ONGOING FORMATION – NOVEMBER
DESCRIPTION:The Diocese hereby announces the Clergy Retreat and Ongoing Formation program scheduled for the month of November. This important spiritual and pastoral gathering is intended for all priests of the Diocese as a time of prayer\, reflection\, renewal\, and fraternity. \nThe retreat will provide an opportunity for the clergy to step aside from pastoral duties and spend time in silence\, prayer\, and meditation\, deepening their relationship with Christ and renewing their priestly commitment. It will also include sessions of ongoing formation aimed at strengthening pastoral leadership\, enhancing ministry effectiveness\, and addressing contemporary pastoral challenges. \nAll priests are strongly encouraged to participate fully in this annual spiritual exercise\, which is essential for personal sanctification and the growth of the diocesan presbyterate. \nThe exact dates\, venue\, and facilitators will be communicated in due course. \nLet us continue to pray for one another as ministers of the Gospel\, that we may remain faithful shepherds after the heart of Christ. \n“For I will give you shepherds after my own heart” (Jeremiah 3:15).
