Jubilee Celebration for the Diocesan Choir at St Cecilia Patron Saint of Choir

The Diocese joyfully invites all parish choirs, choir leaders, and members to participate in the Diocesan Choir Jubilee Celebration in honour of St. Cecilia, the Patron Saint of Church Musicians and Choirs.

This special gathering will be a moment of thanksgiving to God for the gift of sacred music and the dedicated service of choir members who enrich the liturgy through song and worship. As part of the Diocesan Jubilee celebrations, the event will provide an opportunity for spiritual renewal, fellowship, and reflection on the important role of music in the life and mission of the Church.

The celebration will bring together choirs from across the Diocese for Holy Mass, choral presentations, formation sessions, and thanksgiving activities, fostering unity and strengthening the ministry of sacred music within our communities.

As we honor St. Cecilia, may her example of faith, devotion, and praise inspire all choir members to continue using their talents to glorify God and lead His people in worship.
